Who this policy applies to

This policy applies when you visit the FLUX Monitoring website, create an account, configure monitored services, receive notifications, or subscribe to a public status page.

FLUX Monitoring is a free service operated by FLUXCDN on infrastructure separate from FLUX hosting products. If you purchase another FLUX service, the terms and privacy information for that service may also apply.

Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to provide, secure, and improve the service.

  • Account details such as your name, email address, preferred language, timezone, and a securely stored password hash.
  • Monitoring settings such as service names, public destinations, request options, alert channels, maintenance windows, and status-page content.
  • Check results such as availability, response time, status codes, incident history, and the technical details needed to explain a result.
  • Security and operational records such as sign-in activity, account changes, request identifiers, limited device information, and protected representations of network addresses.
  • Contact details you choose to provide when subscribing to a status page, requesting support, or configuring an alert destination.

How we use information

  • Create and maintain your account and workspace.
  • Run checks, confirm service changes, open incidents, and deliver the alerts you configure.
  • Publish status information that you intentionally make public.
  • Protect accounts, investigate abuse, prevent fraudulent activity, and keep the platform dependable.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate material changes to the service or this policy.
  • Measure reliability and improve the service using aggregated operational information.

When information is shared

We may use carefully selected providers for infrastructure, email delivery, and notification channels. They receive only the information required to perform the service requested from them and must handle it under appropriate safeguards.

Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law, to protect the rights and safety of users or the platform, or as part of a business reorganization where equivalent protections continue to apply. We do not sell personal information.

Public status pages and external destinations

A status page can be public. Its name, description, components, incidents, maintenance notices, and other published content may be visible to anyone with its address and may be indexed by search engines unless access is restricted.

When you configure an email, webhook, or messaging channel, notification content is sent to that provider under the settings you choose. Do not include secrets or personal information in monitor names, incident text, or public status content.

Cookies and local preferences

The service uses essential cookies and browser storage for secure sessions, request protection, language, and theme preferences. These are necessary for the service to work as expected.

FLUX Monitoring does not use third-party advertising cookies. If optional analytics are introduced later, this policy and the choices presented to you will be updated before they are enabled where consent is required.

Retention and deletion

Monitoring results, incidents, audit records, and delivery history are retained according to the platform settings needed for reliability, security, and reasonable account history. Some periods may be configured by the service administrator.

When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized through scheduled housekeeping. Limited copies may remain in protected backups until those backups complete their normal rotation. You can ask us to close an account or review a deletion request through the FLUX contact channel.

How information is protected

We use layered technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls, encrypted connections, protected credentials, activity records, rate limits, and regular security review. No online service can promise absolute security, so you should also use a unique password, enable two-step verification, and protect your notification destinations.

Your choices and requests

  • Update your profile, language, timezone, theme, alert destinations, and monitored services from the dashboard.
  • Revoke active sessions and API tokens that you no longer use.
  • Unsubscribe from a public status page through the link included in status emails.
  • Ask to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete personal information where those rights apply.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the service, our providers, or legal requirements change. The current date is shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate service channel.

For privacy questions or requests, use the official FLUX contact page and identify that your request relates to FLUX Monitoring.
